CHRISTCHURCH V. HOKITIKA DISTRICT. The Christchurch Tennis team had an easy win over the local combined team yesterday, winning all hut tnrcc sets. There was an interested attendance throughout the day, watching the progress of the games, but the interest was spoilt to a certain extent by the superiority of the visitors. The visitors wer entertained at a dance in All Saints Hall last evening, when there was a very large attendance and a most enjoyable function resulted. The music was provided by the Melody Orchestra. The visitor:- loft for GreymontTi this morning where they are to play to-ctay.
