An inquiry lound the accident was due to itossing by Fedora, whose rider, K. goitre, was suspended for one month. The attendance was large, but was below the average for Anniversay Day. T lie tote took £53,413$ compared with £85.7275, a decrease of £32,314. Results :

Raumai Handicap : —(1) Belle Star 1 ; (2) Chopin 2: (3) Balloon 3. Won by $ a head. Time 1.51.

The tote took £10,850 against £19,027, a decrease of £8,177. There were two enquiries, one into the handling of Disrank in the hurdles, and the s other as to alleged .interference, with Golden Shadow by Leisure in the Komako Handicap. The evidence- was insufficient to take any action. <
