LAUGH WHEAT EXPORTS

Simultaneously with an announcement that the Federal Government’s arrangements for assisting wheat farmers had lulled through, charters for more than twenty vessels to lift grain for abroad have been completed, it is expected ■ that by the end of March, eightv-uine thousand tons of wheat will have been exported.

Banking abstracts of eleven New South Wales trading banks for the quarter ended December 31st, showed deposits continue to fall and totalled 106 millions or a million less than for the previous quarter. Fixed deposits decreased by 1,182 thousand sterling to 68 millions 385 thousand. The total advances to clients on December 31st were 108?; millions compared with i 110,914,908 at the end of the previous quarter.
