Marijiicrite Buttin met a horrible death at Lille at the hands of her lover, Alphonse Mazaiicourt, who struck her head several times with a hammer, shot her six times and sis she still lived, threw her fatally from a window to the pavemnt. He thereupon hanged himself from a coat rack.
