The Railway Department announce that they have appointed a stationmaster and staff at Putorino, about 25 miles from Waima, on the WairoaX a pier railway. Arrangements have been made with a motor company to take goods .etc., at Pa tori no for delivery at- Wairoa and at Gisborne, and vice versa. 1
