CHINESE COFFINS
ANOTHER WASHED UP, THE MYSTERY DEEPENS. (Received this day at 10 a.m.) (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, January 14. The mystery of a Chinese coffin, found floating near tlie Heads grows deeper, as portions of another one were washed up at Marobra Beach. The coffins are marked with numbers 88 and 87. Members of the local Chinese community express the opinion that the grim flotsam is portion of a “death cargo” of a small vessel wrecked in the Pacific, while hearing Chinese remains home.
