WHEAT FARMERS. A SERIOUS POSITION. (Australian Press Association) (Received this day at 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 14. Leading store-keepers at Narrow Mine have intimated to fanners that they are not, in a position to extend further credit. All further transactions must bo. on a cash basis, and the present account must be liquidated. Ibis will prove disastrous for wheat growers, who with thousands of bags available, cannot realise enough cash to meet half their liabilities. Ruination and bankrupted' face the wheat farmers unless a finality is quickly reached regarding the wheat position.
