CHINESE PIRATES
SEIZE CONTROL OF SHIP. (United Prose Association —By Electric Telotfreph—Copyright). (Received 8.40 a.m.). t SHANGHAI, January 13. The Hsinming piracy was a bloodless affair. Three Chinese passengers and a Chinese clerk were carried off for ransom. Much cargo and piece goods were removed in junks. The pirates were among the passengers and when the vessel left Shanghai they suddenly surprised the officers and seized control of the ship, which is a two thousand toiiner and ordered the captain to steam to Honghai Bay, which is a notorious pirate, resort. They avoided Bias Bay where British warships are patrolling.
