AMY JOHNSON’S MOSCOW. FLIGHT. PRAISE FOR SKIS. United Press Association.—P j Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. J LONDON, January 13. The “Daily Mail’s” Moscow 'cor* respondent says Miss Amy Johnson flew over Moscow in a Soviet twoseater plane, fitted with skis. The officials at ! the Moscow Aerodrome insisted that she should try one of the .Soviet machines. Accompanied by a mechanic, she was aloft for an hour, and landed perfectly. She remarked: “Skis are easier than wheels, and when you land, it does not seem you are on earth again.” AEROPLANE “TRADEWIND." REPORTED TO BE IN SEA. (Received 8.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, January 13. The Mackny Radio Company to-day, announced receipt of a message from the liner “President Garfield” saving the San Miguel Radio Station (Azores) broadcasted 'the following: “It understands the “Tradewind” fell into the sea. about, twenty miles off Mostejros Point, St. Michaels Island. All ships are advised to keep a look out and report to this station if anything is seen.” GUY MENZIES. CHRISTCHURCH, January 14. Guy Menzies, and his partner, A. E.
