SECESSION MOVE
IN WEST CANADA,
(United Press Association- By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) VANCOUVER, Jan. IS, Speaking at Saskatoon, Mr Frank Eliason, secretary of the United Farmers’ of Canada, said:—“Perhaps our secessionist friends are right in their contention that secession is our only hope of securing justice from the east.” He was thereon commenting on the Dominion’s Premier, the statement that the conditions in West Canada were being exaggerated. Never, said Mir 'Eliason, in the history of the prairies has there been such suffr-’ng .'through lack of food and clothing. Mr Bennett’s statement, he said, was bound to add strength to the secession movement. It would be- interesting to watch the development.
