NAVAL SENSATION
ARREST OF THIRTY MEN. (Official Wireless.; RUGBY, January 5. The Admiralty has issued a communique stating that on Sunday morning, fourth of January, an infraction of discipline occurred aboard the submarine depot ship “Lucia.” The Admiralty explains that a delay, due to weather conditions, necessitated the loss of the men’s week-end leave, prior to the departure of the “Lucia” to join the Atlantic Fleet, and also trie crew were kept working on Sunday morning. The communique states that thirty of the seamen so far forgot their duty as to remain below, and shut themselves in when ordered to parade on deck for duty on Sunday morning. They were arrested, and were taken in custody to the Naval Barracks, and a Court of Inquiry sat to-day,- and it will continue to sit to-morrow. Further action will depend on the result of its investigations, which have yet to >. considered.
