The Bank of New South Wales has announced it will Imy exchange telegrnhic transfers on London at £'lls sterling Australian pounds for each £IOO sterling in London and it will sell telegraphic transfers on London at £lls 7s (id Australian, for each CIOO required in London. Other usances will he altered in accordance with these basic rates.
The new rate which the Bank quotes is an advance of £(> 10s on buying side and £0 7s (kl on selling, compared with the rates fixed by the Banks Conference, to take effect in October last. Other hanks have not yet moved their rates.
