A Wanganui man called the other morning at a tobacronist’s to replenish his pouch. ‘ What tobacco do you smoke yourself?” he asked the proprietor. “I don’t smoke,” was the reply, “makes me ill. Tco much ‘juice’ in the weed for me. Wish I could smoke. I thoroughly enjoy the bouquet of good tobacco.” “Ever tried toasted New Zealand?” asked the customer. “No, but I sell more of it than any other sort.” Well, you try it. Hardly any nicotine in it. The toasting does that. Most imported brands are full of the poison. Next to none of it in the toasted. As you know, there are only our brands: Riverhead Gold, Navy Cut No. 3, Cavendish and Out Plug No. 10. As a. beginner you should try Navy Out No. 3. It’s prime! So are the other three brands. And talk about flavour and bouquet!—there’s no tobacco on the market to touch New Zealand toasted ! The tobacconist took the advice offered. Now he enjoys his pipe.—Advt.
