Wright, Pukekura, South Westland, and Mr John Rodewald, second son of Mr and Mrs H. Rodewald, of Auckland. The Rev. Father O’Doherty performed the ceremony. The bride who entered the church' on. the arm of her father wore air ivory georgette and radium lace gOwn of graceful simplicity falling to.. , the a'nkles and a veil of beautifully em-t broidered tulle arranged fanwise .with circlets of orange blossom. Her show-;: er bouquet of roses, meadow- sweet and maidenhair fern, silver shoes and stockings to tone completed , the ensemble, .. .. • ; . . ' : /; In attendance as . bridesmaids were Miss Kathleen Faster . (niece of . the bride) wearing a primrose satin beaute frock with tulle mob cap to match,. Her bouquet 'was lemon scihizanthua and maidenhair fern, and Miss Mary Gallighan (also a niece of the bride) wejhning apricot satin, beautq ~.. fuUy flared,, with shoulder capes and, tulle mob cap relieved with apricot, and,, torquiose blue roses, Her bouquet was of roses and schizanthue. Mr Harry Arnold ably carried: out the duties of best man and Mr Charles Wright acted in the capacity of groomsman. . •• a Following the ceremony a large number of guests were entertained at the residence of the bride’s sister. Mrs Flaherty, when the usual toasts were proposed and duly honoured. The happy couple later left per motor car cn route for Christchurch where the honeymoon will be spent. They carry with them the very best -wishesi of a large circle of friends for.- and prosperous future. The bride travelled in an apricot eharmalaine frock, gulden brown eharmalaine coat and apricot capolin straw hat.
