WEDDING BELLS
On the morning of December 24th. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Christchurch, a quiet wedding took place between Marion Elizabeth, youngest daughter of Mrs and the late James Moore of Hokitika and Ernest, eldest son of Mr and Mrs George Partridge of Cromwell, Otago. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. J. W. Hayward. The bride who was given away bv her brothers Mr Wvbert Moore of Wellington, wore a charming ensemble of biege crepe georgette with a, smart close fitting hat of biege lace straw. Her bridesmaid was Miss Grace King of Hokitika who wore a. lovely frock of duchesse blue celanese, with hat to tone.
Dr. Moore of Greymouth, brother of the bride, acted as best man. . After the ceremony the bride’s mother held a reception for the bridal party at Warner’s Hotel. Mr and Mrs Partridge left for a, motor tour of Central Otago and the Cold Lake district, They will make their future home in Waoganui.
