HAINES IMPROVES. ,* (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY, December 29. The Sydney boxer Haines has slightiv improved. - ■ - •-.D’ HAINES’ CONDITION. ‘ SYDNEY, December 29. The boxer Haines, though improved, is not out of danger. The report that he was operated on is incorrect. He was placed on the operating table but for an unknown reason the operation was postponed. The ex-champion stated:—“l shall come back with the gloves again.” His trainer, Dunleavv, however, said Haines will never enter the ring again. The new title holder is upset over his opponents illness. His father said:—“Tt happens it was my hoy’s thirteenth professional bout and the fact that he is responsible for two others going 'to' the hospital after previous bouts is playing on his nerves.”
