HOKITIKA CYCLING CLUB
A meeting was hold on Monday evening. Present: Messrs J. J. Williams (Chairman), E. Best, T. Richards, R. Little, H. Mason and Secretary. Ail apology was received from J. Davern. The minutes of die previous meeting were read and confirmed. Inward correspondence was received and outward approved. After discussion the sweepstakes in lioth races held on Saturday, were supplemented by Club funds, making tlie senior race £1 and 10s second, the junior race 10s with 5s second. It was moved that the Hockey Girls be approached re gate keepers for New Year’s day. The following, officials were appointed for New Year’s Day sports;— Track Stewards: Messrs F. Rockford and C. Morrison. Megaphone Steward: Mr E. Heenan. Time Keepers; G. Sutherland, -Tack Ross. Call Stewards: O. Hahn, ,R. Lynn, E. Toohey. Children’s Events,: J. Conning. Referee: R. Collett. Starter: J. J. Williams. Assistant starter, J. Davern. The President and T. Richards were appointed to collect for prizes on New Year’s Day. Mr T. Richards offered a medal for most points in races for coming season.—Received witn thanks.
