Geoffrey De Montmareney, Governor of Punjab, was made this afternoon, as he was leaving Punjab University Hall at Lahore after a eon vocation. Six shots were fired near the- gate. Two 'struck the Governor, one in the hack and the other in the left hip. Another shot hit a Sub-Inspector of Police, the bullet passing through his neck. A fourth wounded another policeman, and a fifth wounded a woman.
