NEW LIGHT CAR

RUGBY, December 21. Sir William Morris, hend of the famous firm of motor-car manufacturers, announces that his firm is putting on the market shortly a neAv model car to sell at £IOO. He says it is larger than many small cars noAV on the road, and the engine differs from the present Morris Minor in that it has side-by-side Am Ives instead of overhead valves and camshaft. ■ Tt is equipped with three speeds, and has four-Avlieel brakes. It is capable of 50 miles an hour, and does over 40 miles to the gallon of petrol. It will be available in a feAV weeks. Sir William Morris says he is very pleased Avith the tests Avhich baA r e been undertaken secretly during the last six months.
