A late season and unfavourable weather coupled with much abortion among the dairy herds have had a disturbing effect upon local farmers. i tie amount of whitebait caught for canning locally has fell short of expectations. Mr Buchanan will arrive later to occupy the farm recently purchased by Nolan Bros, from the trustee of the estate of the late J. Mcßride.
