At the Mental Hospital grounds yesterday Canterbury school boys team played Hokitika district schools. Hokitika, made 71 (Williams 37. Knowles 13). Christchurch made 69 (Brown oj). Hay and Fulhvood, both of Christchurch, secured the hat trick. On Cass Square in the junior game Hokitika made 34 and Christchurch made 143 for two wickets, declared, (Roberts 70, Harding 33). Hokitika in the second innings made 34 (Johnston 11, Spence 11).
