FARES REDUCED
ON ATLANTIC LINERS

The Atlantic Conference, which includes all of the north Atlantic passenger shipping companies, has decided to reduce the first class passenger, fares between Europe and the United. States and Canada to a minimum. The basic rates are only reduced about ten shillings, hut there are heavy reductions in the higher priced rooms and suites.
Trans-Atlantic first .class traffic decreased by about thirty thousand in 1930. These reductions apply to AngloAustral ian passengers, via the United States and Canada. ' ' ■ *
