CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS. (Official Wireless). RUGBY, Dec. 17. Mr Arthur Henderson (Foreign Secretary) spoke at the centenary celebration of the death of Simon Bolivar. He reviewed Bolivar’s work and attitude toward Great Britain under Canning and claimed that Bolivar signally deserved the name of “ The Liberator,” as five States ascribed their independence to, him. The ielations between the British Government and the countries which looked to Bolivar as a national hero continued to be most friendly, and never had been more cordial than they were to-day.
