N.Z. AERO CLUB, by Telegraph, Ter Jt'iwsa Association: WELLINGTON, December 17. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Aero Club was held to-day, air, Francis Boys presiding. It was decided that the annual meeting should be peripatetic and that each club pay its delegate's expenses. The meeting approve,! of one official pageant in each Island, no restriction lo be placed on local and unofficial pageants. Otago was granted the 'South Island official pageant on February 21, and Hawke’s Bay the North Island pageant on March 14. Officers were elected as follows:—President, Sir F. Boys; vice-Presidents Messrs. G. AI. Spence; 11. R. Dix; SecretaryTreasurer, Mr P. R. Climic; Council; Messrs. AV. L. Free, T. Odowd, E. . Hislop, J. Gilkison; Auditor, Mr S. E. Neil son. It was decided to take legal advice whether pilot-instructors come under the Workers’ Compensation Act.

GARDEN AT ROTORUA. ROTORUA, December 17. Osic-ar Garden, Captains Hewett and Haig arrived at Rotorua by plane at 3.3f> after a somewhat stormy passage from Hamilton. The visitors were met by a Rotorua Airways plane in charge of Flying Officer Money. A big crowd gathered at the aerodrome to- welcome the visitors. All the machines made a perfect, .landing; in the teeth of a strong wind. The party were met by the Mayor, (Air Jackson), and Mi' J. IX Davys (President of Rotorua Airways) and were escorted to the Grand Hotel where they were informally greeted by the citizens. A civil reception followed and later a banquet ..at- the Grand Hotel by the Rotorua Aero Club was given in their honour. ATLANTIC FLIGHT. ROME, Dee. 17. The Italian seaplane squadron o«t_. countered a violent storm at the Balearic Isles. The seaplane squadron have arrived at CarUvania. Four of them, including the Balbo, anchored.
