HUNTER WILL CASE
CASE CONTINUES. [By Telegraph, Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Dec. 18. The Hunter will case was continued at the Supreme Court to-day. Daniel George Arthur Cooper, formerly Registrar of the Supreme Court, and afterwards S.M., said he saw fir George Hunter last August, when he spoke quite clearly and his face sutmed tho same as witness had always known it.
On being recalled, Alexander I>unn, barrister and solicitor, produced a file of letters from Rethune and Hunters. The letter book, forwarded to Percy Hunter, was in connection with Sir George’s affairs between October8, 1929, and June 17, 1930. The letters were based on conversations lie had with Sir George. Witness said Sir George’s power of doing business was the same after the stroke ■ns before. His whole manner was the same and be required no prompting. A; Air Justice Reed said be regarded the letters as very important. Replving to His Honour, witness said that Sir George appreciated the Government’s super tax would affec. him considerably. In fact Sir George s case has been quoted in Parliament.
