Lindrum in a great effort to catch up on McConaehy, broke three records with a break of 3,905. He did this, first, when he scored 2,375, which is a record for a single session; then, when he passed his own record of 3,263, made last year; and then passed the world record, held by W. J, Peall,.of 3,304, which was made by Peall'-dm 1890, chiefly by the spot stroke, which has later been barred. Lindrum’s break occupied 185 minutes. He gave many exhibitions of easy scoring at the top of the table.

McConaehy scored only 109 all day long. The scores when play finished to-night were: McConaehy 17,761; Lindrum 16,508.
