NEW YORK FINANCIER VANISHES. ; NEW YORK, Oct. 17. Search is being made for a New York financier who has not been heard of since he parked his airplane in the ‘Chicago municipal hangar on October 10. It is understood that he was interested in an investment trust and other financial ventures. The records of several banks will be examined to discover what has happened to securities worth £1,200,000 which are said to represent the holdings of the investment trust. Mr Watson Washburn, the Assistant Attorney-General of New York State, has the matter in hand, and the New York.
