Trade betwten Canada and Australia will be .very materially increased if the present plans for a revision of the trade agreement is earned out, according to Mr Maloney (Australian Trade Minister) who has arrived at New York eu route for Canada. Mr Maloney will proceed to Ottawa on Saturday. He is hopeful that a mutually satisfactory trade agreement will be conducted soon. No revison of the existing preferential tariff rates which in any way adversely affect Britain will be made. He considered the present inter-Dominon preferences will be left as before at least until after the Ottawa Conference.
