INQUEST PROCEEDINGS

viewed a female patient at the AA festland Hospital from whom lie obtained the keys of the ease. On opening the suit case at the Station lie discovered a dead child wrapped in some clothing, and blood-stained clothes. A white handkerchief was tied, tightly round the child’s neck The case and con-

tents were conveyed to Dr Hopkins’ surgery for further examination, and a. report was made to the Coroner. Allen Hopkins, medical practitioner, stated at the request of the Police lie examined the body of the child. It was a female and fully developed. There was a piece of rag tied round the neck of the child. The rag was moderately tight. At this stage the hearing was adjourned sine die.
