IN AFGHANISTAN

Nadir Shah, King of Afghanistan, is confronted with serious problems in Badahkhun, the most northerly province, where a young Robin Hood has arisen in the preson of Ibrahim Bey', a tribrtannn. who is terrorising the province with a force of brigands estreated to number ten to sixteen; thousand, the riffraff of the various tribes and absconders from the law, all fully armed. Many towns ar.d villages were sacked and the inhabitants are fleeing to Kabul.
