(Received this day at 10 a.m.) United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright *
LONDON. December 2.
Hon Geo. Forbes was received at Belfast by Lord Craigavon and members of the Cabinet. He lunched at the Chamber of Commerce. Queens University conferred the degree of Doctor of Laws.
Replying to five civic welcome at Belfast, Mr Forlies said he, himself, and his colleagues at the Imperial Conference had not put up anything which might be termed humbug. They did not want to do anything which might be regarded as giving an advantage to New Zealand to the disadvantage of the British people.
