MOSCOW TRIALS

RUSSIAN TRIAL

(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)

MOSCOW, November 110. The examination of the eight accused continued. Fedotov declared that he joined a group of textile engineers. He later realised that they were counter-revolu-tionaries; but he did not break his connection. When the Soviet sent him to England in 1925, he reached an agreement with a group of manutacturers, who promised to pay 200,(.00 roubles, while emigres promised to pay 50,000 roubles for the group of engineers with which he was associated.

ILLUMINATING DISCLOSURES

(Received this dnv nt 9. a.m.) PARIS, Dec. I

An illuminating commentary on the trial of the professors at Moscow is the revelation that Ryadushinski whom llamzin declared was the principal intermediary in 1927 in arrangng French co-operation against Soviet died here in 1924. The disclosure is rather embarrassing to the prosecutor, as it discounts most of Ramzin’s evidence.
