ARAHIJRA FAT STOCK SALE. At yesterday’s fixture in above yards the entry comprised 160 fat sheep and 84 head of fat cattle which were olfered to the usual attendance of buyers. The quality of the yarding was good but in sympathy with the recent fall of all classes of stock at Addington there was a decline in prices in keeping with those at the Metropolitan fixture. It must also bp borne in mind that we are now into the summer months and a drop in prices is to be expected. Nevertheless tbe best finished steer beef was in many eases hut little below the recent sales recorded, the most pronounced fall being in the Heavy cow class. Some pens of shorn sheep were entered and the prices were again, equal to Addington.

W. Jeffrips and Co. sold, as follows.For W. H. Chinn 3 fat ewes, shorn, at 16s 6d, 16 wethers, shorn, at 17s 9d, 17 ewes, shown, at 15s 6d. For T. P. O’Neil 61 fat woolly ewes at 22s 6d. For Perry and Co. 1 bullock at £l6 12s 6d, 2 at £l6 7s fid, 2 at £ls 17s fid, 2 at £l3 17s fid, 2 at £ls 17s 6d, 3 at £ls 2s fid, 2 at £l4 7s fid, 2 at £l4 7s fid, 2 at £l2. 2 -runners at £7 12s fid, 1 stag at £l2. For J. M. Giblb 2 bullocks at £l4 7s fid. 2 at £l2 7s 6d, 1 at £lO 17s fid. For -L. R. Gibb 1 bullock at £l2 12s fid 1 beif-r at £7 17s fid. 1 00-. vat £7 9 s fid. 1 at £5 12s fid. For E. A. Gibb 3 bullocks at £l2 17s 6d, 2 at £l2 7s fid. 1 at £ll 7s fid. 1 heifer at £ll 7<s fid. For F. W. Gibb 2 bullocks at £U 12s 6d, 2 at £l4 ss, 3 at £l3 17s 61. 3 at £l3 7s fid, lat £ll 7s fid. At a meeting of Master Butchers held at Arahu-ra yards yesterday it was decided to hold the utsual stock stale in above yards on Monday, 15th TVeembor. and the special ’ Vnuns sale on Monday, 22nd December.
