The plot, as it was adapted to the screen by Ray Harris and Gene Towne, deals with the intriguing adventures of a lady novelist, when she tries to live one of her “sexy” modern stories in rqal life. Dorothy Mackaill is said to have one of the most amusing characterisations the blonde favourite has ever portrayed. She gets into pecks of trouble trying to fictionise real life, and to regulate the love affairs of others as well. William A. Seiter, who has directed other successes in which Miss Mackaill starred ) mega-; phoned “Strictly Modern.” Heading!, the supporting cast with Blackmer aie Julanne Johnston, Warher Richmond, Mickey Bennett and Katherine Claire ’> Ward.
