CHANG WINS.
REBUILDER OF CHINA. LONDON, November 19. The British Government has officially recognised Chang Hsueh-liang, the “Young General,” son of the late Marshal Chang Tso-lin, dictator of Mukden, as the national reconstuctor of China. At the invitation of the Chinese Government, Sir Miles Lampson, British Minister to China, is proceeding to Nanking to attend the festivities for the reunification of China, ordered by Chang Hsueh-Liang. The occasion i« hailed as the dawn of a new epoch, Yen Hsi-shan and Feng Yu-hsiang having temporarily retired in Chung Hsueh-liang’s favour.
