GOLD BONUS

Referring to the proposed Australian gold bonus, cabled yesterday, Abe “Daily Telegraph’s” city editor says; “The advantage of a- gold bonus to mining companies is obvious: but what return the Government will get for r paying 105/- per ounce for gold which cannot be worth more than 85/- overseas is not clear.”
