(Received 9.2(1 a.m.) LONDON. November 28. Two hundred members of the New Zealand Society gave a luncheon to Hon. Forbes and Sir T. Sidey at the Savoy, Sir Thomas Wilford, presiding. Mr Ramsay MacDonald said he and Mr Forbes were both a little old fashioned, believing in the sentimental bond of Empire. Mr Forbes paid a tribute to Air Mac-
Donald’s tact, patience and diplomacy i as Chairman of the Conference. New Zealand had to face lower prices and must do it cheerfully. Lord Jellicoe proposed the toast ol Sir T. Wilford. The King received Messrs Forbes and Bennett at Buckingham Palace.
