THE BOARDS PROPOSALS.

The Fruit Export Bqard have announced that proposals put forward by Chairman Brown, providing for marketing of New Zealand apples on the continent shall be adopted this? season. Arrangements are being made for all fruit bound for the Continent to be forwarded to the Hook of Holland, under an optional bill of loading, which will enable the Board’s representative to divert fruit to tire United Kingdom markets, should the demand in those markets warrant the diversion. Fruit sent to the Hook of Holland may be sold on a forward basis, or may be forwarded to any of the continental centres on a consignment basis. The fruit will he sorted after arrival in Holland according to varietv.
