extensive; writing off. Bv Telegraph—Prew Association) WELLINGTON, November 27.' At a meeting of the. Wellington Hospital Board this afternoon, Mr A. J. McCurdy,' Chairman of the Fees Committee, mentioned a number of recent cases in which hospital accounts had not been paid. During the past seven years the sum of £300,000 had been written off the hospital accounts in Wellington. From April to October of last year, the sum written off was £32,085, and for the corresponding period of this year the writing off amounted to £27,858.
