N.Z. ASSOCIATION DECISIONS

WELLINGTON, Nov. 27
The New Zealand Tennis Association decided in favour of a- penny increase in the capitation (fee, making it fourpence, instead of threepence, the extra penny to he utilised for fostering junior tennis. Mr W. Melody’s junior < tennis /• scheme, minus the financial proposals, is to be reintroduced. Junior national hard-court championships are to be held in May. The New Zealand Association, is-to take control of the Wilding Shield and the Nunnelly Casket competitions on a ischeme to be decided later. The Association is overwhelmingly opposed to the affiliation of non-territorial bodies.
