An officer of the British YangtsoVayaiigtse steamer Fuliwo was injured when Communists fired oil the ship near Hankow.

Reds influence is spreading in Hunan and Tuiigting Lake area, which is unsafe. Twenty American missionaries are isolated at Slienchow and West Hunan. They claim two hundred and two counties are under the domination of Communists.
