BOATING TRAGEDY

FOUR PERSONS DROWNED,

(Received this day at 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 26. Four persons were drowned when a boat overturned at Ccobang Creek, Condobolin. The victims were: Alary Kennedy, aged 16. Irene Kennedy, aged 2, (her sister). Maude Singh, aged 10. Rex Singh, 5 months (her son). A party of nine were in the craft when it upset. Only one woman could swim. The screams brought the assistance of a farmer who rescued four. He then secured the bodies of the babies. The other two were not recovered until hours later.
