(United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] ! ‘ YORK, November 22. • The epidemic of bank closings cabled op'November I7fh, has extended into nine of the Central and Southern States, noth business suspended, or ended outright in a total of 119 banking" institutions. Predictions have been made that many of the.*banks would re-open soon, but apparently, the difficulties of agood number of’them will not prove an easy matter to settle immediately. The States hit by closures are Arkansas,' Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, ; jQarqlina, Tennessee and Minnesota.
