NEW YORK, November 22
The “Herald-Tribune’s” ’Washington correspondent says: -“All Russian Soviet goods will have to face a ban in the proposals drafted for the U.S.A. Treasury Department under which, upon the complaint of any citizen, an embargo would be plated against the shipment of such goods without the production of a Consular invoice a,s a condition for their entrance. As the United States has no Consular representation in Rusisa, this would assure their exclusion. FOREST’ FIRES. (Received this dav at 10 a.m.) LOS ANGELES, (California), November 23. Six persons were killed and scores injured when, brush and forest fifes broke out, WIND STORM. PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED. LOS ANGELES,' (California), November 23. Several sections of nnestimnted property damage was caiisecl on Saturday by a wind storm, which swept southern California, At times it reached the velocity of eight-five miles per hour. Shipping and aeroplane services are hampered. There is great damage to fuit.
