POLYNESIAN INTERESTS
PAN-PACIFIC CONFERENCE,

WELLINGTON, November 21
At a meeting of . the Polynesian Society, it was agreed, on the suggestion of . Bishop Williams, that a Pan-Paci-fic Conference of persons and societies interested in ethnology, anthropology and philology be held in New Zealand. The countreis to be represented would be New Zealand, Australia, Japan, the United States, Canada and various countries of South America, The object of the conference is to discuss matters which are at present being dealt with in a number of journals, The initial steps will shortly be taken,
