Captain Roy Ammel has completed a non-stop flight from New York to Panama successfully, landing at France Field at 2.45 p.m. after covering the distance in 24 hours, and 35 minutes. He did so despite storms and head winds over most part of the journey. Captain Ammel carried 703 gallons o<f petrol. He flew in a low-winged monoplane. AN AIR RECORD. NEW YORK, November 11. An eighteen yeafs *>ld Boston youth, Stanley Moynton, who took his first aeroplane ride fifteen months ago to-day holds the junior speed record for East and West flights across United States. He bettered the West hound record by four hours.
