WANGANUI, Nov. 10. At the Supreme Court prisoners were sentenced by Justice Ost.lci :

+ itangi Argpata, to twelve months probation 'for wilfully shooting a gelding valued at CIO at Karioi, the property of TvTarotuna Matin, and he was order to pay costs Cl-1-ls Gd. restitution having already been made. Leighton Taylor, to twelve months hard labour for unlawful carnal knowledge at Rangntaura.
