TOKYO, Nov. 7

The British cargo steamer “Ben Alac Dliui” when leaving Kobe harbour collided with the Nippon Yusen Company’s steamer “Hakusan Maru” from London. . The latter was subsequently beached.

An examination revealed that the damage of the “Ben Alac Dhui” was not as serious as was at first thought. She was repaired in time to permit her to depart for London. „An unfortunate consequence of the collision was the death from shock of Bishop Trollope, of Korea, who.was en route for Seoul. He suffered from a weak heart.
