The Premier ..and Treasurer (A'lr Lang) alter a hurried examination of the State finances, isays he has discovered that the Bavin Government left behind a deficit of fifteen millions in the cash account. Ex-Premier Bavin when asked whether this was (orreet, replied that it was quite apparent Air Lang is losing bis balance or method of balancing. His fantastic, utterance Would probably servo as an excuse for his ability to find money to enable him to fulfil his equally fantastic election promises.
