AUSTKALIANS’ TOUR. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, November 6. 'the New South Wales and Queensland members of the Australian Cricket Team arrived aboard the Oronsav at Sydney to-day. The were warmly welcomed and were complimented on returning with the asiies. Hornibrook said that so called sticker wickets in England were not nearly so treacherous as the stickev wickets in Australia. He found it most difficult to get the ball to spin very much on the dead English wickets. Kippax said he found English wickets strange for a time, and decided to alter his back play, eliminat ng the late cut altogether, which enabled him to do so as well as he did . Oldfield said it was the most enjoyable as well as the most successful tour in which he had participated. M.C.C. IN AFRICA. CAPETOWN. Nov. f.. West Province School Fifteen made 115.
